• To cover very briefly (I'm sure you're getting tons of emails right now), since I completed the PCWD program, I've been working at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. First as a Practice Coordinator in an extremely tense department, then transferred to HIS Department as an HER Processor which has worked out well. I have earned my keep here and am respected for being a knowledgeable and professional team member. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for all you have done for me. My outlook when I came to PCWD was pretty bleak looking. At the time I was living at the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, and now I am preparing for a home mortgage, and a son with my wife on my arm. I am redeemed, and I owe you a debt I don't know if I can ever repay. If there is ever anything I can do to assist you, you can count on my response and cooperation to the best of my ability. I will always be grateful and thankful for your good work.

      • A full-time working single mom, GNA, went through the Ways to Work program to try to get a vehicle for herself and her children. She worked the 3-11 shift, had to find childcare for her youngest child, who had disabilities, for such a tough schedule. I helped her find adequate childcare, and she completed the Ways to work program, finally being able to pick a vehicle of her choice and had a goal to also go back to school.

          • A GNA who worked at a long term care facility, married with 2 children, youngest having Autism, facing divorce. With coaching assistance, she completed a Phlebotomy course, and a EMT training course while working at Levindale and taking care of her family. She also did part-time Phlebotomy work at Levidale for a few months. She has most recently been promoted to a new organization, fulfilling the job of her choice!

              • A young lady who worked as a Housekeeper at Levindale, applied for our internal GNA program and was accepted. She completed the course and clinicals, gained her GNA and was immediately hired at Levindale as a full-time GNA. A few months later, she began school for Nursing, and is now soon to finish as BSN/RN! She still works for Levindale, has utilized the Tuition Assistance program, and hopes to continue working for Life bridge as she grows in the healthcare career ladder!
